Ergenza: frequently asked questions
Ergenza is an HR and payroll platform in early access. It covers core HR, attendance, leave, payroll, talent and HR service in one product. Tax and legal values are settings your team edits. It runs on our cloud, or on your own servers with Enterprise, in English, French and Arabic.

- What is Ergenza?
- An HR and payroll platform that keeps one employee record for core HR, attendance, leave, payroll, talent and HR service. It is built for organisations that pay people in more than one country.
- Can we use Ergenza today?
- Ergenza is in early access and in active development. Every new workspace is approved by hand: request a free trial and we email your sign-in link when your workspace can open.
- Which modules does Ergenza include?
- Five groups: core HR, attendance and leave; payroll, compensation and benefits; talent (recruitment, performance, learning and engagement); HR service (helpdesk, grievance, policies, workflow and assets); and reporting and AI.
- Can Ergenza pay employees in more than one country?
- Yes. Payroll is built for several countries and several currencies in one company account, and every country is set up the same way, with its tax and legal values as settings.
- Who keeps tax rates and legal values up to date?
- Your payroll team. Rates, limits and tax rules are settings with a start date that your team edits, so a change applies from that date without waiting for a software update.
- Does Ergenza give tax or legal advice?
- No. Ergenza applies the values your team or adviser sets. Seed values for a country are a starting point to review, not a guarantee of compliance.
- Which languages does Ergenza support?
- English, French and Arabic, with a full right-to-left layout for Arabic.
- Can we use single sign-on?
- Yes. Staff can sign in with your company’s identity provider through OpenID Connect, or with passkeys. User accounts can be created and removed automatically (SCIM). SAML 2.0 is on the roadmap.
- How is our data kept separate from other customers?
- The database itself keeps each company’s data apart (PostgreSQL row-level security), not only our code. Each company has its own change history, and any edit to it shows. Sensitive fields are encrypted with AES-256.
- Does Ergenza hold security certifications?
- Not yet. Ergenza is in early access and does not hold SOC 2, ISO 27001 or other third-party certifications.
- Which tools does Ergenza connect to?
- Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, company sign-in with automatic user setup, email through your own mail server, biometric attendance devices, and webhooks that send HR events to your other systems. Links to accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite and others) are planned.
- Does Ergenza include AI features?
- Yes. You can ask questions about your HR data in plain words and forecast future headcount. The AI can also run on a model hosted on your own servers.
- Are these the final prices?
- These are our early-access prices. Subscribe while we are in early access and your price is locked for 12 months. If prices change later, we tell you before anything changes for you.
- What currency are prices in?
- Prices are per month for the whole company, not per employee, and exclude applicable taxes. Amounts in other currencies are approximate; we confirm your billing currency before you pay anything.
- Can we run Ergenza on our own servers?
- Yes, on the Enterprise plan — this is called on-premise. Every other plan runs on our cloud. It is the same product either way.
- How do we start a free trial?
- Send the short trial request on this site — name, work email, company, country, size and plan. No card needed. Every workspace is set up by hand; we email you when yours is ready, and the 30 trial days start only then.
