Enterprise
One product, two editions
Every customer gets the same Ergenza. Enterprise customers can also run it on their own servers (on-premise); everyone else runs on our cloud.
Editions
Where Ergenza runs
| Aspect | Cloud | On-premise (Enterprise) |
|---|---|---|
| Who it is for | Every plan | Enterprise plan only |
| Who operates it | We do — hosting and updates | Your team, in your environment, with our support |
| Product | The same Ergenza build | The same Ergenza build — no separate fork |
| Data location | Our cloud | Your infrastructure |
Controls
What large organisations ask for
These are capabilities in the product today, available in both editions.
Single sign-on
Staff sign in with your company account through any OpenID Connect provider, or with passkeys. SAML 2.0 is on the roadmap.
Automatic user setup (SCIM)
Accounts are created and removed from your identity provider automatically, so leavers lose access when your directory removes them.
Your own sign-in rules
Password rules, lockout after failed attempts, and session and idle timeouts — set for your company.
Change history that shows tampering
Every change is logged. Log entries cannot be edited or deleted, and any tampering is detectable.
Approval workflows
Configurable approval chains with multiple approvers across modules.
Events to your systems, journals for accounting
Webhooks send HR events to your other systems, and each address is checked before sending. Payroll journals can be exported once live payroll is switched on for your company; direct links to accounting software are planned.
Evaluating
How an enterprise evaluation works
Ergenza is in early access. Enterprise starts as a guided pilot: we set up a pilot workspace with you, walk through your payroll countries and policies, and agree support terms in the contract.
Start on our cloud
Most evaluations start on a cloud workspace set up with you.
Plan an on-premise install
For on-premise, we agree the environment and upgrade process with your IT team.
We do not currently hold third-party security certifications. Contact us for the details of how the platform handles your data.

In active development — sign-ups are locked for now. When sign-ups open, paid plans include a 30-day free trial with no card, and every workspace is set up by hand.
